"Iran strongly condemned interventionist comments by the Norwegian parliament speaker which were also judgmental and untrue," the semiofficial Fars news agency reported on November 7. Masud Gharahkhani, the head of Norway's parliament, expressed his support for the demonstrators in an interview with London-based Iran International.
