A total of 1,771 Iraqis were wounded in attacks in June.
The statement says Baghdad was the worst-affected governorate with 950 civilian casualties.
More than 1,000 people were killed in violence in Iraq in May.
On July 1, police found the bodies of eight members of a pro-government Sunni militia who were killed execution-style and dumped near the town of Tarmiyah, north of Baghdad.
Officials said the men were snatched from their houses during the past two days.
