Alleged Coup Plot Revealed Ahead Of Kyrgyz Elections

Authorities in Kyrgyzstan have arrested 15 people for allegedly planning a coup after parliamentary elections scheduled for November 28. Last year, parliamentary elections were followed by an angry mob storming the presidential palace and led to the overthrow of the then president. On November 26, President Sadyr Japarov said this year's elections would go ahead as planned.
