Armenian Community In Los Angeles Hit By 'Devastating' Wildfires

A Christian school serving Los Angeles's large Armenian community was among more than 1,000 buildings burned to the ground by raging wildfires in southern California. At least six separate fires caused widespread destruction on January 7 and 8. Local Armenians vowed to rebuild their school and described chaotic scenes of freeways gridlocked with cars as residents awaited evacuation instructions.
