Forty Thousand Demand Macedonian Government Resignation

Around 40,000 people took to the streets of Skopje to demand the resignation of Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and his government. The protests, organized by the opposition, came after leaked tapes apparently showing ministers plotting vote-rigging and the cover up of a murder. (RFE/RL's Macedonian Service)
