U.S. President Barack Obama is scheduled today to visit the headquarters of social network giant Facebook, in the Silicon Valley area of northern California.
Obama, who recently announced his intention to seek reelection in 2012, is expected to answer questions from Facebook users in a live online broadcast.

In his 2008 campaign for president, Obama's team was noted for its skill in using the Internet and websites like Facebook to organize fund raising and voter-turnout efforts.
During his visit to the San Francisco Bay area, Obama is also expected to host a number of events aimed at raising funds for the campaign for next year's elections.
