ISLAMABAD -- RFE/RL's Radio Mashaal in Pakistan has received a video showing a German aid worker who was abducted in January appealing to his government to accept the demands of his abductors.
In the video, Bernd Muehlenbeck says his abductors might kill him at any moment.
Muehlenbeck was abducted in Multan on January 19 together with Italian national Giovanni Lo Porto.
Both men worked for the international aid group Welthungerhilfe and were aiding victims of Pakistan's devastating 2010 flooding.
The 52-second video does not include any demands from the abductors, but Muehlenbeck says he was targeted "because of the bad policies of the German government."
In Feburary, a senior Pakistan Taliban commander said the two men were in the custody of the group and were in "good health."
