Pakistan PDM Leader Blasts Supreme Court Decision To Release Ex-PM Khan

Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leader Maulana Fazlur Rahman on May 13 assailed a Supreme Court ruling that led to the release of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, whose arrest by the anti-corruption agency had set off nationwide protests as political tensions rise in the South Asian country. The PDM is an alliance of parties that stood in opposition to Khan while he was in power. Khan, 70, was ousted as prime minister in April 2022 in a parliamentary no-confidence vote.
