Officials in Pakistan say unknown gunmen have killed at least four police officers in the restive southern port city of Karachi.
A senior city police official Tahir Naveed said on August 3 that the slain policemen were on night duty in the eastern neighborhood of Faisal Colony.
He said their bodies were found inside their vehicle, which was spayed with bullets.
The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan says that at least 100 police officers have been killed in Karachi since the beginning of the year.
