Pakistani officials say at least nine people have been killed and dozens of others injured in a suicide attack on a church in the southwestern city of Quetta. The extremist Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the December 17 attack, in which two militants opened fire and one of them detonated his suicide vest in Bethel Memorial Methodist Church, where about 400 people attended Sunday services. Another attacker was shot dead by security forces, officials said. The injured were rushed to the main hospitals in the city. (RFE/RL's Radio Mashaal)
