University Employees Demand Budget Increase In Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province

Thousands of university employees from across Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province staged a protest to demand an increase in the annual budget for their institutions. At the May 27 rally in the provincial capital, Peshawar, protesters also claimed that a proposed increase in tuition fees would put too great a financial burden on students and their families.
