The online leaks of highly classified documents about the war in Ukraine present a “very serious" risk to national security, and senior leaders are taking steps to mitigate the damage, Pentagon spokesman Chris Meagher said on April 10. Since then, he has reached out to allies, held daily meetings to assess damage, and set up a group to assess the scope of the information leaked and review who had access to it.
