Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled on June 27 to address a congress of his ruling United Russia party ahead of parliamentary elections in September.
The gathering in Moscow will also be attended by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
The Kremlin said the congress is set to approve the party's election program for the next five years and present the party’s list of candidates at the elections to the lower house of parliament, the State Duma.
On June 17, Putin signed a decree setting September 18 as the date for the vote.
