A riot has ended at a prison in quake-hit eastern Turkey.
Inmates at the jail in the city of Van set fire to cells and battled with guards after a big aftershock sparked fears the prison could crumble.
A pro-Kurdish legislator involved in talks with the prisoners, Nazmi Gur, said a deal had been reached to relocate the inmates temporarily to other prisons.
"Inmates in this prison are going to be transferred to other prisons around the city and this is a temporary solution," Gur said outside the prison.
Earlier, police threw teargas canisters to disperse an angry crowd that had congregated outside the jail.
Turkish media had reported that 200 prisoners had escaped on October 23 after the quake brought down a perimeter wall, but 50 returned after visiting relatives to check on their safety.
The quake killed more than 400 people and made tens of thousands homeless.
Efforts continue to find survivors.
Rescue teams pulled a two-week baby alive from a collapsed apartment block in the devastated city of Ercis on October 25.
