Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said on February 21 his government had approved a move initiated by the Foreign Ministry to extend for an unspecified term a ban on issuing visas and residence permits to Russian and Belarusian citizens that was introduced in 2022 over Russia's ongoing invasion of Ukraine. Relatives of Czech or EU citizens can also apply for Czech visas. To read the original story by RFE/RL's Idel.Realities, click here.
