Iraqi officials say a string of bomb attacks in the Baghdad area have left at least 13 people dead and dozens wounded.
A suicide bomber killed at least seven people -- most of them policemen -- in Taji, a town some 20 kilometers north of the capital, while a wave of roadside bombings in Baghdad's eastern and southern neighborhoods took at least six lives.
There was no immediate claim for the bombings, which come just days after a deadly attack in Kirkuk on May 19 left some 27 people dead.
