Dozens of Ukrainian police raided a protest camp outside the parliament building in Kyiv early on December 6 in a failed attempt to detain Mikheil Saakashvili, the former Georgian president turned Ukrainian opposition leader. Authorities said at least four police officers were injured, while protesters said nine activists were injured. The raid came a day after police briefly detained Saakashvili before his supporters freed him from custody. (Reuters/1+1 Channel)
