The evacuation from Lyman, a town in the north of Ukraine's Donetsk region, has been under intense Russian shelling, with some areas reduced to rubble. On May 2, RFE/RL correspondent Levko Stek accompanied Ukrainian police officers who evacuated civilians from the Ukrainian town in the path of Russia's offensive.
