EU officials make no secret of the fact that they branded the People's Mujahedin Organization of Iran a terrorist organization at the request of Iran, says Hamid Irani. "The Wall Street Journal" in October reported that Tehran had made the PMOI's international terrorist designation a diplomatic priority. A U.K. Parliament committee has said that lawmakers who went to Iran were struck by the number of times that the officials there raised the issue of the PMOI to an extent that it almost became an "obsession." So what about the PMOI does the regime fear?
