A barrage of Russian missiles and drones struck across Ukraine on the night of November 16-17. Standing amid destroyed and heavily damaged houses, a man in Mykolayiv told RFE/RL how he was helping to save a neighbor and her child from burning debris. The woman was eventually pronounced dead.
