Rebels Set Fire To Iraqi Oil Pipeline

3 September 2005 -- Insurgents today set fire to an oil pipeline linking the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk to the Baiji refinery.

Earlier this week, officials said attacks on oil installations averaged 25 a week.

Meanwhile, attacks on Iraqi troops and police continue.

At least 10 Iraqi soldiers and policemen were killed today in the country.
