Israeli, Russian Foreign Ministers To Meet In Moscow


Tzipi Livni (file photo) (epa) July 3, 2006 -- Israel's Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni is due to hold talks in Moscow today with her Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.

The meeting will mark the first talks between the ministers since the
government of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert took power in Israel this
spring.

The Israeli and Russian sides are expected to discuss issues including the Iranian nuclear issue, cooperation in the fight against terrorism, and efforts to restore the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
