Gunmen Kill Seven In Baghdad


An Iraqi soldier and U.S. tank on the streets of Baghdad (file photo) (epa) July 10, 2006 -- Gunmen today ambushed a bus in Baghdad, killing seven people.


Iraqi security officials say the attack occurred on the main street of the mostly Sunni neighborhood of Al-Amriyah.


Earlier on July 10, two car bombs exploded in a Shi'ite area of Baghdad, killing at least seven people and wounding 17.


The attacks are the latest in a wave of sectarian violence that has gripped the Iraq capital.
