U.S. Soldier Testifies On Iraqi Detainees' Killings

U.S. soldier with prisoners (file photo) (CTK) August 2, 2006 -- A U.S. soldier told a military court today how four of his colleagues killed three Iraqi detainees during a raid north of Baghdad in May.

Private First Class Bradley Mason also told the court the four accused later threatened to
kill him if he told investigators what happened.

The U.S. military
court in the northern town of Tikrit now has to decide whether the four
should stand trial on charges of premeditated murder, which can bring the death penalty.
