Baghdad Car Bomb Kills Eight


Firefighters extinquish a blaze caused by a car bomb in Tikrit on November 14 that killed one Iraqi soldier (epa) November 15, 2006 -- A car bomb has exploded in Baghdad, killing at least eight people and wounding dozens of others.


There were no immediate details.


In other news, U.S. military says insurgents have killed six U.S. troops in Iraq, including four in the restive western province of Al-Anbar. The four were killed on November 14.


In Baghdad, two soldiers were killed on November 14 when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb in the northwest of the capital during "combat operations."
