At Least 15 Killed In Iraqi Violence


(RFE/RL) June 7, 2007 -- Reports from Iraq say at least 15 people were killed today in scattered violence.


In Baghdad, a bomb beneath a parked car exploded outside a restaurant, killing at least three.


On the Syrian border, a suicide bomber blew up his explosives-laden truck at a police station in Al-Rabi'a, killing at least four officers and five civilians.


In Al-Ramadi, west of Baghdad, three police officers were killed when a suicide driver blew up his car at a checkpoint.


The independent Voices of Iraq (VOI) news agency says one of their Iraqi female correspondents was shot dead by militants today in Mosul. The British military says that one of its soldiers was shot and killed in southern Iraq.
