Warsaw, June 27 (RFE/RL) -- Lithuanian Prime Minister Mindaugas Stankevicius has arrived in Poland on a two-day official visit.
A key goal of the first official Polish stay by a Lithuanian prime minister is the signing of the Lithuanian-Polish free trade agreement, initialled in Warsaw on June 18. Stankevicius earlier held unofficial talks on the treaty with his Polish counterpart some two months ago.
Lithuania's former prime ministers, Aleksandras Abisala and Adolfas Slezevicius, have previously been to Poland, but only on working visits.
