Serbia's economy minister has claimed that a song chosen to represent Bosnia-Herzegovina at the Eurovision Song Contest festival in Moscow in May was actually penned by him.
Mladjan Dinkic says the song "Bistra voda" (Crystal water) played by the Bosnian group Regina is, in fact, a remake of his song, and he has demanded that he be credited as the song's co-author, RFE/RL's South Slavic and Albanian Languages Service reports.
Aleksandar Covic, the author and singer of the song for Regina, has rejected Dinkic's claims as groundless. Covic says that the song was his own creation and that he has never heard Dinkic's song in his life.
Dinkic, 44, has a rock band called Monetary Shock and went to music school, according to his party's website.
