Greeks Celebrate Referendum Result
Thousands of people celebrated in central Athens following the resounding "No" vote in Greece's referendum on whether to accept bailout terms demanded by creditors. Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said the voters had made a "brave choice." Some 61.3 percent voted "No" and 38.7 percent "Yes." Later, the Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis, who like the prime minister had campaigned for a "No" vote, announced his resignation -- on the basis that Greece's creditors would prefer his "absence" from further meetings.
