On Tuesday, Iranian presidential candidate Mir Hossein Musavi and his wife, Zahra Rahnavard, met with the family of 19-year-old Sohrab Arabi, who was killed in the postelection crackdown.
The gooya.com website has posted some pictures of the meeting. One of the pictures shows Musavi sitting under a poster of Arabi, who is wearing a green bandanna and a green scarf.
In a video clip of the meeting posted on YouTube, Arabi's mother, Parvin Fahimi, is explaining how authorities failed to inform her about her son's death for more than three weeks.
She said she intends to pursue justice for her son's killers. She said her son didn't do anything wrong.
"He just protested peacefully," she says.
A reformist website says Musavi vowed in the meeting not to let the blood of protesters killed in the postelection crackdown be spilled in vain.
