As Rockets Fall Near Presidential Palace, Fears Rise Among Afghans

For many Afghans, doubts about the peace process with the Taliban are growing as Islamist militants capture more territory across the country. Anxieties in the capital, Kabul, rose as at least three rockets exploded near the presidential palace on July 20 just before President Ashraf Ghani was due to make a speech to mark the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha. Islamic State militants later claimed responsibility for the attack.
