On November 11, Pan-Arabic television network Al-Jazeera is set to launch its Balkans network, which will broadcast in local languages.
The Balkan operation of Al-Jazeera has its headquarters in Sarajevo and has regional studios in Zagreb, Belgrade and Skopje.
Broadcasts will be available in Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Kosovo and Montenegro.
The Qatari news network until now has had programs only in Arabic and English.
The network said equipment had cost some $10 million.
