Ambulance Drivers In Armenia Go On Strike, Demand Pay Raise

A group of ambulance drivers went on strike in the Armenian capital, Yerevan, on November 2, demanding more pay to compensate for an increased workload due to the coronavirus pandemic. One driver complained that he regularly conducts twice as many emergency calls in a 24-hour shift as the number defined in his contract.
