Armenians Mourn Infant Slain In Attack On Family

Mourners gathered at a church in the northwestern Armenian city of Gyumri on January 20 for a funeral service for a 6-month-old boy. The baby died on January 19 of injuries sustained in an attack against his entire family, allegedly by a Russian soldier based in Gyumri. Six other members of the family died in the January 12 attack. The motives for the killings remain unclear. (RFE/RL's Armenian Service)
