Biden Says Putin 'Badly Miscalculated' On Ukraine

Countering Russia's attack on Ukraine featured prominently in U.S. President Joe Biden's address to Congress on March 1. In the first State of the Union speech of his term, Biden said the "free world" was holding Russian President Vladimir Putin to account for the invasion. "Putin's war on Ukraine will have left Russia weaker and the rest of the world stronger," Biden predicted.
