THURSDAY, October 14:
Georgia: The 13th round of internationally mediated talks between Russian and Georgian diplomats is scheduled to take place in Geneva.
Iran: European Parliament's Subcommittee on Human Rights holds discussion with Mohammad Mostafaei, lawyer for Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani.
Iraq: Turkish Foreign Trade Minister Zafer Caglayan, accompanied by a group of Turkish businesspeople, travels to the north of Iraq to hold a series of talks.
