The 67th Cannes Film Festival is under way in the French resort city, attracting thousands of film industry professionals, journalists, tourists, and movie lovers. The city pulses with activity as the population swells from some 67,000 to more than 160,000 for the duration of the festival. But the glamorous event does not eclipse the seedier side of Cannes, where homeless people beg for change not far from the festival's red carpet.
