Cotton Harvesting In Turkmenistan

Cotton is the main agricultural crop in Turkmenistan and textiles rank among the country's major exports. The cotton crop takes up about 550,000 hectares of land in the Central Asian country, and yields more than 300,000 tons of "white gold" a year.
