A clean-up is continuing around Crimea after heavy rains from a powerful cyclone unleashed devastating floodwaters. Yalta was the hardest hit area on the south coast of the peninsula, with rivers overflowing, flooding streets and houses. At least one person died and dozens were injured during the storm and floods that began on June 17.
Russia seized Crimea from Ukraine in 2014 and a local official says at least $75 million dollars will be needed just to repair damaged roads.
