A drone strike on suspected militants in northwest Pakistan near the Afghan border has killed at least 10 people, according to unnamed Pakistani intelligence officials.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, the officials reportedly said the drone fired two missiles at a compound in a village in North Waziristan a day after another drone strike killed four militants in the same region.
One of the Pakistani officials said, "We believe [the compound] was being used by militants."
The United States has long conducted aerial strikes using unmanned drones in its continuing effort to battle Al-Qaeda and Taliban militants in the region.
