Thrills And Spills At The Freestyle Ski World Championship In Kazakhstan

Some 140 skiers from 19 countries completed four days of events at the Shymbulak ski resort in Kazakhstan on March 11, as part of the 2021 Freestyle Ski World Championship.

Skiers from the United States, Russia, Kazakhstan, and other countries traveled to Almaty for the event.

On the last day, skiers competed in aerial freestyle, a difficult (and spectacular) sport.
On March 11, the teams competition in aerials took place, in which the Russian team took gold, Switzerland silver, and the United States bronze. Competitions in moguls, dual moguls, and aerials (single) took place on the preceding days.
