Georgians Vote In Parliamentary Elections
Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, accompanied by his wife Maka Tsinadze and one of their sons, was among those who cast their votes early in the capital Tbilisi in the Caucasus country's parliamentary elections on October 8. Besides regular polling stations, mobile ballot teams were also sent out to the homes of elderly voters with limited mobility. Some 3.5 million eligible voters are faced with a choice of nearly three dozen parties and blocs vying to fill the unicameral parliament's 150 seats. (RFE/RL's Georgian Service)
