Havel Procession Carries Coffin To Prague Castle

Thousands gathered in the streets of Prague to watch as a military procession accompanied the coffin of late Czech President Vaclav Havel to Prague Castle, the seat of the presidency, where it will remain until a memorial service on December 23. Once inside the castle complex, the coffin was carried on a horse-drawn carriage that was used in 1937 for the funeral of the first Czechoslovak president, Tomas Garrigue Masaryk.
