Indonesian soldiers have found the black box from the Russian Sukhoi Superjet 100 that crashed during a short demonstration flight on May 9.
Gagah Prakoso, the spokesman for Indonesia's search and rescue agency, said the data recorder box was found near the site of the plane wreck at the bottom of a 500-meter ravine.
The pilot of the plane requested to descend just before the plane vanished from radar in a mountainous area. All 45 people on board were killed.
