At least 20 passengers and crew members have been killed in a plane crash near Kazakhstan's largest city, Almaty.
The Kazakh Prosecutor-General's Office told journalists that an investigation has been launched into the accident.
The Challenger-200 aircraft operated by SCAT airline was traveling from the northern city of Kokshetau and crashed 5 kilometers away from Almaty's airport on January 29.
Rescue brigades, firefighters, and representatives of Kazakhstan's prosecutor-general, Interior Ministry, and Emergency Situations Ministry are working at the scene.
The crash area was sealed off by police.
