Son of Former Pakistani Prime Minister Thanks Rescuers

The son of a former Pakistani prime minister has left Afghanistan after being held by Al-Qaeda militants for three years. Ali Haider Gilani, the son of ex-premier Yusuf Raza Gilani, was freed in a joint operation by Afghan and U.S. commandos near the border with Pakistan on May 10. (RFE/RL's Afghan Service)
