Kosovo Police Close Road To Village After Shooting

Police in Kosovo sealed off the access road to the village of Banjska on September 24. An ambulance and armored police vehicles were seen driving to the village in the municipality of Zvecan after a police officer was shot dead and another wounded overnight. Ethnic tensions have affected predominantly Serb northern Kosovo for nearly a year over issues such as car-license plates and local elections.
