NATO-Led Forces Remain On Guard After Violent Clashes In Kosovo
Local crews were seen cleaning up the streets of Zvecan in northern Kosovo as the NATO-led KFOR peacekeeping forces remained on guard in the area. The cleanup began in the morning on May 30, a day after violent clashes in Zvecan between security forces and ethnic Serbs injured 30 KFOR soldiers. NATO announced on May 30 that it was deploying additional troops to help maintain security.
