Live Blog: Presidential Debate in Iran -- Foreign Policy

Frud Bezhan and RFE/RL editors were on hand to live-blog the third and final debate with Iran's presidential candidates on June 7. While the first two debates dealt with mainly domestic issues, the third installment covered politics and foreign policy. Read how events unfolded here.

Rohani vehemently denies supporting the crackdown on student protesters. Gharazi interrupts the feuding Rohani and Rezai and says their disagreement is a personal dispute and does not have a place in this debate. Candidates, again, almost shouting at each other!

This debate is heating up. Rohani and Qalibaf at it. Rohani, almost shouting, says he has always supported freedom of speech. Qalibaf accused Rohani of banning students from protesting during Khatami's time as president
