Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has sent congratulations to the pro-Moscow Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov and Kadyrov's mother.
Medvedev used Instagram to post the congratulatory birthday to Kadyrov.
A message on the video wishes Kadyrov "Happy Birthday" and is followed by the message, "Congratulations to Aymani Nisievna from me."
Amani Nisieva is Kadyrov's mother.
Kadyrov has earlier posted a message to Medvedev on September 14, Medvedev's birthday, wishing the Russian prime minister good health and happiness and thanking Medvedev for his support for Chechnya, which Kadyrov said was "especially important in these [current] conditions of unfriendly actions on the part of certain Western governments."
